Call for Papers 

 

Paper sessions will be limited to 20 minutes with an additional 10 minutes for discussion. Workshop presentations will be limited to 90 minutes.  Panel sessions will be limited to 90 minutes, in which three or more presenters will be given an opportunity to speak in an open forum.  Strict time limits will be enforced for all the presentations.

 

1.       Abstracts of of no more than 100 words or less should be submitted no later than April 1, 2012.  The one-page, single-spaced abstract should include the following information.

·         Title of the Paper, Workshop and Panel Presentation

·         Name(s) of lead presenter(s)

·         Position/Title

·         Institutional/Organizational affiliation

·         Mailing Address

·         Phone Number(s), fax number

·         E-mail address

·         Names of co-presenter(s) and/or team members

·         A brief biography of presenter(s) and/or co-presenter(s).

·         Brief description of the presentation (100 words or less).  For workshops, please add content of workshop, workshop plan and timetable. Include no more than five keywords.

2.       Acceptance letters of accepted paper proposals will be mailed or e-mailed by June 30, 2012.  All abstracts will be peer reviewed.

 

3.       At least, one of the presenters must register for the conference by the Early Bird registration deadline on September 30, 2012 to ensure inclusion of the presentation in the Conference Program.  Without valid registration, presentation cannot be included in the Conference Program. All presenters MUST be a paid member.

 

4.       A maximum of two proposals can be submitted for review.  However, only ONE will be accepted for presentation and the author(s) must make a commitment to present it in person.

 

5.       Electronic copy of the full paper must be submitted no later than November 30, 2012.

 

6.       Selected papers will be included in the conference proceedings.

Proposals for papers/workshops/panel presentations from Taiwan should be sent directly to Dr. Victor Fang at t1667@nknucc.nknu.edu.tw.
